Can I have my e-mail forwarded to my new CompuServe 7.0 address?
Absolutely. During your 2-month trial period we will forward all incoming CompuServe e-mail to your
new CompuServe 7.0 address. You can also turn on a response service that automatically e-mails a
"change-of-address" notice to anyone who sends you e-mail. However, we cannot route CompuServe 7.0
e-mail back to your original CompuServe account. Note: both your domain name and, in most cases, your
personal e-mail name will change with CompuServe 7.0.
Can I continue using my Our World home page on CompuServe 7.0?
Each Screen Name on your CompuServe 7.0 account is entitled to 20MB of space for a home page. If you
wish to continue using an Our World page from CompuServe on CompuServe 7.0, you must save these files and
upload them via a third-party FTP to your CompuServe 7.0 Our World site.
Can I try CompuServe 7.0 now and convert my old account later?
Yes. However, you will have to reinstall CompuServe 7.0 and choose the option to convert your
existing account during the registration process. You will also have to select a new CompuServe
Screen Name if you do so. (This feature is available for Windows only.)
What about Forums?
On CompuServe 7.0 you will have access to all Web Forum areas and will be identified by your Screen Name
rather than your old CompuServe User ID. You will lose any links associated with that ID. For example,
if you posted message as user 7xxxx,xxx, and another member replies to that message, when you come back
into the Forum with your new CompuServe 7.0 Screen Name of JOHNDOE123, you will not be notified that
you have messages waiting. In Forum areas, a CompuServe 7.0 member will be able to communicate with other
members who are using any version of CompuServe. You will not have filing cabinets for Forum messages
or files.
What about Chat?
On CompuServe 7.0 you can have up to seven reserved Screen Names (nicknames) to use for Chat. You
will not, however, be able to create reserved handles or profiles. Chat Sysops will have the ability
to send/receive sounds and images and start Web tours. CompuServe 7.0 members have access to the Red, Blue, Green and Gold Zones of
Chat Hub Central. Red Zone is a chat area only available to CompuServe 7.0 members.
How is my billing affected during my free trial of CompuServe 7.0?
During your free* trial of CompuServe 7.0 you will continue to be billed for your existing CompuServe
account on your current pricing plan. You will not incur any monthly membership fees for your trial
of CompuServe 7.0. However, premium services and communications surcharges may apply.
What happens at the end of my free trial of CompuServe 7.0?
If you do not cancel during your two month free* trial of the CompuServe 7.0 service, you will automatically become a
CompuServe 7.0 member. Your CompuServe 7.0 price plan will be the default $9.95/20 hour price plan (with each
additional hour billed at $2.95), regardless of what your price plan was with the existing CompuServe service. After your
two month free* trial, you can upgrade your CompuServe 7.0 price plan to unlimited pricing at Keyword: MEMBER. If you
choose this unlimited pricing upgrade, your unlimited pricing plan will not take effect until your fourth month as a
CompuServe 7.0 member. After your two month free* trial of the CompuServe 7.0 service, unless canceled in
accordance with the cancellation procedures at Keyword: CANCEL, your original existing CompuServe account will remain
active, but you will only be billed for the time you use it at $2.95/hour. Additional fees for premium services and
communications surcharges may apply.
How do I cancel CompuServe 7.0 and go back to my old CompuServe?
At any time within your 2-month free* unlimited use trial period, you can cancel by calling CompuServe
Customer Service at 1-800-848-8990. If you cancel during your free* trial period, your e-mail auto-forwarding
will be turned off and you can keep using your original existing CompuServe account under your current pricing plan.
If you cancel your CompuServe 7.0 account after your free* trial period, then it is important to note that
your existing CompuServe account will still be on the pay-as-you-go pricing plan billed at $2.95 per hour
at no free time and no monthly fee.
How do I cancel my CompuServe Classic Account?
During your free* trial of the CompuServe 7.0 service, unless you cancel it in accordance with procedures

according to the price plan associated with your existing CompuServe account. During your free* trial of the CompuServe
