Houthis say they struck Saudi's Jizan airport, coalition says it intercepts missiles

CAIRO (Reuters) - Yemen's Houthis fired 10 Badr-1 ballistic missiles at Saudi Arabia's Jizan airport, the group's military spokesman said on Sunday, adding that the attack left dozens killed and wounded.

The military spokesman for the Iran-aligned Houthi movement described the attack as 'the largest operation with medium ballistic weapons' since the beginning of Yemen's war.

A Saudi-led coalition fighting the Houthis later said it had intercepted and destroyed six missiles fired at the kingdom.
