Twins' Buxton leaves game after HBP in head

Minnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton left Friday night's game with the Cincinnati Reds after getting hit in the helmet by a Lucas Sims pitch leading off the bottom of the eighth inning.

Buxton, who has a history of concussion problems, was hit by a 2-0 fastball clocked at 91.7 mph. He walked off the field under his own power and was replaced by Jake Cave in center field.

Twins third baseman Josh Donaldson had earlier left the game with a calf cramp and is listed as day to day.
