Dino Scala is due to be questioned again on November 6, 2026, by an investigating judge in Valenciennes (Nord), in connection with the new charges brought against him last year relating to 13 counts of sexual assault, his lawyer told AFP, confirming a report by RTL. The man known as the "Sambre rapist" was previously sentenced in 2022 to 20 years' imprisonment for around 50 counts of rape, attempted rape or sexual assault in France and Belgium.
